Who I Am

Your Support in Healing and Growth

I am dedicated to providing care that is both personalized and evidence‑based, meeting you exactly where you are. My work centers on truly understanding your story, your strengths, and your challenges so we can create a path toward mental wellness that feels realistic, supportive, and empowering.

I founded Grace in Healings to offer a space where people feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for. Our practice provides comprehensive mental health services, including medication management and psychotherapy, to help you achieve emotional balance and overall, well‑being. I believe mental health is not a luxury—it is a vital part of living a full, meaningful life. At Grace in Healings, we take a clear, grounded, and stigma‑free approach to care, because everyone deserves the chance to heal and thrive.

I hold a Doctorate in Nursing from the University of Texas and am dual board‑certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Adult‑Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP‑BC). I also completed a certificate program in Gerontology Healthcare. My experience across inpatient and outpatient settings allows me to support clients with a wide range of needs, from everyday stress to complex mental health conditions.

I deeply believe in the transformative power of psychotherapy. It offers a space to understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors with clarity and compassion. Think of it as having a trusted guide who helps you explore your inner world, uncover patterns, and reconnect with your values and goals. Psychotherapy encourages self‑reflection, strengthens coping skills, and supports healthier relationships—both with others and with yourself.

In our first session together, here’s what you can expect

Your first visit is all about you—understanding your needs and creating a plan that feels right. We’ll start with an open conversation about your concerns, symptoms, and goals in a safe, judgment-free space. I’ll review your medical and mental health history to get a complete picture, then we’ll discuss possible diagnoses, treatment options, and answer any questions you have. Together, we’ll design a personalized plan using evidence-based approaches —tailored to your goals and your motivation to grow. Your journey to healing starts here, and I’m here to walk beside you every step of the way.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I use evidence-based practices while respecting each patient’s unique story. My strengths include building trust through empathy and active listening, crafting personalized treatment plans, and integrating medication management with practical therapeutic tools such as CBT and mindfulness. I focus on collaboration—patients are partners in their care. My style is warm, nonjudgmental, and solution-focused, helping people not only manage symptoms but build resilience for the long term. I believe in treating the whole person, not just the diagnosis.

The clients I’m best positioned to serve

I work best with individuals who are ready to take steps toward healing and growth—even if they feel uncertain or overwhelmed. My ideal clients may be experiencing anxiety, depression, mood changes, or navigating major life transitions. They value a collaborative approach and want a provider who listens, understands, and empowers them to find practical solutions. I also welcome clients who seek medical care—addressing both mental and physical health—and appreciate evidence-based strategies like CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and positive psychology. Whether your goal is to manage symptoms, build resilience, or rediscover balance, I’m here to support you every step of the way. As a mental health provider, I bring a rare blend of medical expertise and analytical insight to my work. I have worked as a Neurosurgery NP, Hospitalist, and worked extensively in ICU, Trauma unit, as well as infectious disease management. These experiences taught me how deeply the mind and body influence one another—especially during moments of crisis, chronic illness, or major life transitions. I understand complex medical conditions, the emotional impact of hospitalization, and the challenges of navigating high‑stress environments. This allows me to support clients experiencing medical trauma, anxiety, somatic symptoms, caregiver burnout, and health‑related uncertainty with both compassion and clinical clarity. Together, these experiences allow me to offer care that is holistic, integrative, and deeply attuned to both the psychological and physical dimensions of well‑being. My goal is to help you make sense of your experiences, strengthen your resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.
